I'd like to share some news
 

The last few months have been chaotic since the moment I learned my dad had bowel/colon cancer on top of other things. He finally had an operation a month ago and even though it was quite successful, he'll now need some chemo :(. But he's at home in Buenos Aires now and improving day by day particularly because we are looking forward to something else...and this leads me to the good news...

I am pregnant. We learned this almost at the same time we had my dad's news. We are all extremely happy and I can't wait to see my parents in a few days, last time I was with them was November '05!. It has been the most stressful and difficult time I can remember but we are ready for this new and exciting phase in our lives.

So, I wish you all a lovely Xmas and as one of my friends said: ONLY good things in 2007! :)

Congratulations Vanesa! That's fabulous news. Oh, you must be thrilled :D When is the baby due? Will you want to know the sex in advance?

As the Spanish saying goes: una de cal y otra de arena. I hope your dad makes a full recovery.

Congratulations Vanesa. All good things to you for 2007. I do hope your Dad makes a full recovery and gets to enjoy his grandchild. And boy - your life will sure change LOL - mostly for the better - but "free time" will become a thing of the past for awhile.
