..haha thought id get in first and make this thread. Hows it been???

Well I finally I moved out of my parents, got moved to another team at work which im enjoying, made some good new friends too. However it hasnt been all been rosy..

I guess 06 can be summed up for me by saying when things have gone well ive had some of the best times of my life, 3 weekends stand out especially (and no they arnt all to do with seeing Bon Jovi). But when things have been not so good they have been well to put it bluntly absolutely shit so im looking forward to 2007. Yeh I know its only a date on a calender but heres to 07 :D

It's been pretty good overall. I did lose my grandmother though and had/have a hard time at work sometimes. But apart from that I can't complain much. I had a fabulous time with my boyfriend and my sister gave birth to a lovely boy.

I have much to look forward to in 2007 and from where I now stand the new year looks very promising :)

2006 has been one of the better years for me. The HAND tour definitely had something to do with it. For 10 years my husband and I have been so caught up in the lives of our children that we never really took the time to enjoy what we like. But this year we decided to change that and do something together just for us. Well that, of course, was going to some Jovi concerts. Two close to home and one in New Jersey. We were able to visit New York City which neither of us had done before. We have had some very challenging years with one of our daughters in the past but this year didn't seem to be quite as rough. So, cheers to 2006, and here's hoping that 2007 is even better.

I cant make my mind up about 2006, wasnt as bad as 2005 but there were still a few bad days....

Saw a few concerts, got a nephew, and moved jobs for the 328974298745 time....

2007...... hmmmmm, am not quite sure what it holds for me, i hope its better than 2006, which it definitely will be i can guarantee that

eh - some good and some bad this year. Fortunately nothing horribly bad so I can't really complain. The high points included this years tour and the people I got to meet when they came to NJ. This also is the last year that my daughter will be in high school. It's off to University in 2007. Since she is my last kid - that will be quite a change in both our lives.

At least for me - there is something about having a drawer full of concert tickets that gives me something to look forward too. 2007 has the possibility of it being the last E Street Band tour. While I will mourn the last day - I am already saving (a bit) for as many concerts with Bruce that I can get to.

On the whole it has been a crap year and I cannot wait to put this year behind me. I lost my job, my cat got cancer, I had to euthanise my first cat... I'm afraid the bad outweighed the good.. roll on 07!

Pretty good with a few exceptions. I saw Bon Jovi twice. I had the best golf season of my career this year, with 2 college wins. I can't complain with the exception of losing my grandfather this last January.

2006 I think could possibly be the best of my life. For May, June and July, I practically lived my life out of a suitcase. I always wanted to see a BJ show in Germany, which in May I finally did. Dusseldorf was great not only for DC, but for the people I shared the day with. Seeing Amsterdam, in Holland was also great.

June was eight concerts, and being on the road for two weeks. One bryan Adams show in Huddersfield, back home to Liverpool to pick up (the last to arrive) a ticket, then straight back upto Glasgow, then onwards to Manchester, Coventry, Southampton (went to Portsmouth for the day too), then two nights at Milton Keynes, followed by going to Carli's and to the infamous Hull. Very nice to meet up with Gkev Vallie, Mike, Chris, Yv, Jim, Tom, Taija, Tash, Laura, Jana again and meeting Lee, Thierry, Richie, Dan and Florin for the first time. :)

Having been home for a few weeks, it was time to pack my bags again and head off to NY to meet Thierry again. We had a few drinks and met Kathleen and Paul the following day. That day in NJ was one of the best days of my life, then of course the two first nights at Giants Stadium was something I won't be forgetting in a long time. Was so cool to go drinking with Kathleen, Paul (Who have the most beautiful home and are experts in making dreams come true) and Becky. Then it was back to NY for a few days to explore the city that I've wanted to go to since as long as I can remember. I also metup with Amy and Matt.

Before I had gotten chance to settle in, I was being rushed back off to NJ to meet the lovely Brooke, and her hubby and daughter. It was worth three years wait! I just hope it isnt that long before we meet again. I'm sure it won't be. Once back in NY I spent four days with Wanda (Veloz) and then the last night of the tour at Giants, which was something very special indeed.

Since the tour ended, I have knuckled down at work, and taken on extra roles, which I soon to be awarded for. I've made a few other good friends along the way this year, and continued having trips away in the UK. The latest being away with Carli (who has come to be one of my nearest and dearest of friends) in The Lake District. This was also a highlight of the year for me, as it was somewhere I went alot as a kid, but not been for at least 12 years. Was lovely to get away and see a place that brings back memories of my childhood.

I sure hope 2007 is another good one...but it would take something VERY special to emulate 2006... :)

The year had a tumultuous start--I decided to quit my job in February, but then gave it enough thought to make myself put up with it until my contract was over in June. That gave me time to find another job which is in my home county. It's practically a miracle. What I do is so specialized that I was afraid I'd have to move to McComb or Oxford because those were the only openings I knew of when I started looking. Instead my local school district created a position for me. I'm still amazed when I think about it.

I had to have two surgeries this year in March and August and while both were necessary and I certainly felt better after than I did before, I think two surgeries is more than enough for one lifetime, never mind a span of 6 months. My goal for 2007 is to stay out of operating rooms!

The people I work with now are all very nice and the atmosphere is different than where I was. The superintendent said more to me in one week than the last one did in 6 years. To tell you the difference--the old super didn't even say, "Welcome back" or "How are you feeling" when I came back from my gall bladder sugery and I was about 6 doors down from his office. The new one sent me a potted plant and called me to see how I was feeling when I had the other surgery and I'd been at that job less than a month. That's how different they are as people!

I had a fabulous year for concerts. I saw Bon Jovi in Nashville, Tampa x2, Ft. Lauderdale/Hollywood, and at Giants Stadium x2. I saw Keith in Tallahassee and Atlanta and Brad Paisley in Birmingham. The best part of the trip to Jersey was being able to meet so many people: Kathleen, Paul, Kev, Matt, Thierry, Amy. I got to visit with old friends Karen and Yvette on the Florida trips and meet Debbie from Biloxi (I don't think she ever posts here though). I got to meet Lori from who posts on Backstage when I went to Atlanta.

There's still a lot of stuff going on that I'm not happy about in 2006, but I can't bitch too much about a year that landed me a job 11 miles from my home.

its been a very difficult year, but we have got through it... I hope 2007 will be better...
