i wasnt rude, quote me on what i said and let others judge

Mongoose 01-22-2007 06:33 PM

A warning means you've been warned, thats it - it carries no punishment.
Whereas an infraction carries punishment since if you get X number then X happens :][

Okay, lets get one thing straight before we start. I don't have to do what you say. Especially when you are rude about it. On this occasion however, I will show you what you have asked for, to prove a point. Please be aware that next time you request something (not demand!), you may want to try something like "I'm sorry that you believe I'm being rude. Please, could you show me, an example of this?". That is the way i would approach it. Not 'quote me on what I said and let others judge'. I don't take demands...especially from you. Learning a certain degree of politeness, will get you a long way in life. It's difficult to take you seriously when you are constantly rude to other users, and lack any knowledge of spelling and grammer.

You took the wrong examples dude. In my book they aren't rude, I know it's a matter of opinion/culture, but those weren't at all. (i'm sure you can find posts wich are definitaly rude)

well seeing as ive asked 100 million times maybe this is the right time to FULLY explain to me

Mongoose 01-24-2007 12:20 AM

You know everything; there's a system in place in which either a warning or infraction can be given to a poster for something considered to be unacceptable (for example personally attacking people based on their looks in the photo thread, or randomly telling someone their name is "shi* face" for example or ruining threads with purile insults etc). After a set number of infactions something will happen to you.

Yvonne 01-24-2007 12:53 AM

the mods just make up rules as and when it suits them so it seems....

Mongoose 01-24-2007 12:54 AM

Get over it Yvonne. Remove that stick from a certain orifice

ermm i was gunna say something......................i forgot

Captain_jovi 01-24-2007 05:55 AM

You know, I will agree with those who think the rules as to the infractions/warnings need to be made and posted. It's not right to make a law, keep it secret, then bust them on it after they did it. Granted two members come to mind that think they're invicinble and then act up and then play innocent and pull the "it's the mods agianst us wahhh" card. But at least if there was something concrete and sticky'd, they'd stop bitching everytime they do something wrong. And then everyone wins! YAY!

Actually, we don't. Self control is not a rule, but a way of life. Plus, we have stated numerous times that calling other members fat, gay, etc. will lead to posts being deleted. Nothing in what we are saying is any different from the rules people have learned in grade school. It really isn't as difficult as some are making it out to be.

to be honest, it isn't realy clear if it is warning or not. Worse, it just says infractions:
1
2
etc

Incorrect as usual!! But it is okay. Your world is much prettier.

Thomas Anderson 01-25-2007 12:04 AM

For ****s sake is this bollocks still goin on?! I've had gaz on ignore for a while now so don't know exactly what he's been getting up to, and I think I might have to add someone else to the list. Can you guys really expect to act like such children and then really complain when you get punished? It's pathetic. It's really a pity that Peter is so dead set against bans.
