Yeah, it was a wacky day. In the AM it was so humid and warm you couldn't breathe, which is bizarre for this time of year. The day turned out beautiful though later on. Today, rain and cold again. *sniff*

Absolutely nuts this weather :( Not that I don't like it warm - but it is so odd this time of year. And last night - after being so warm - it damn near flooded us out. How about some nice sprinkles of snow LOL.

On Saturday I was in a restaurant for lunch and they had the doors wide open but it was still hot in there. It's so crazy to see people walking around outside in short sleeves and then realize it's January.

I miss snow. :(

snow... thought that was last week :D

It is a bit frightening.. makes me think its not going to be a good sign for us in the long run all that global warming and the dangerous seems to be getting closer everyday.

There are pics of people in NY in t shirts etc on the US news sites....

I saw this in the news and was totally confused. Over here it's a little warmer than usual, though we've had quite cold days. But certainly no one is walking outside in sleeveless tops.

And still some people deny that global warming is happening

From what I've heard it was a small leak but the wind carried the smell so far that it seemed bigger than it was. Schools and some other buildings were evacuated but I think everything's back to normal now. On the news about an hour ago they said the smell is mostly gone. I never smelled anything here but I'm pretty far from where the leak supposedly happened (and I think I was asleep when it was at its worst :p).

this winter has been like spring here (or scandinavian summer :p), with the exception of a few cold days.
