Will they be touring this time?

What do you think if there going to be a tour after releasing Lost Highways?
Would think that world tour isn't even considered...?
With the new "direction" it is hard to see them selling out stadiums...
Hopefully they tour at least in States that we get some good live material... Cause it was a shame what happened with TLFR and Box set... or what didn't happened to be correct...
So what do you think about the touring?

I doubt it somehow ... a couple of promo shows here and there probably

Totally agree. If a full blown tour was in the works, venues would need to be booked by now.

Yep, I really don't see them touring this album, just a few shows dotted around over the summer. Then we'll get the greatest hits before Xmas and a proper studio album to follow, with presumably a proper tour.

Hopefully it will all happen pretty quickly as Jon said in an interview at the end of the HAND tour that Lost Highways, the greatest hits and the new studio album would all be written and recorded back-to-back.

I find it odd that they chose to not tour this album. What if it´s a success?

is that true? if so, i wouldn't mind no tour so much. either way, i'm hoping a handful of shows will be arranged over the next 12 months for britain - possibly/probably with a wembley gig in mind.

New Direction??

What is all this new "direction" talk about Lost Highways. Please tell me it not a country record!

Doesn't matter. HAND was turning into quite a success stateside but they cut the tour short.

Here's my take on it. Forget everything Jon said at the end of the HAND tour. Some of it still may be true but it's obvious things have changed since then. I don't know what's going to happen, but I like that they have a fire under their ass again.

I hope that I have some more time to "save up" before they embark on a big tour - purely selfish reasoning I know. I wouldn't mind a few "one off" shows but I don't really think there will be a big tour for this album. For one - they just finished a big tour - and Jon at least makes no bones about touring being his least favorite thing to do.
