Video Collection on DVD - Why don't we have one yet?

Okay, I know I'm probably beating a dead horse here, but when is Bon Jovi going to release a DVD with all their videos? I was at Target yesterday and saw (and bought) collections from Def Leppard & Journey. $10.00 each covering ALL their videos - yes even the laughable ones from early in their careers (believe me, BJ doesn't have ANYTHING as bad as the 1st couple Journey vids  ). The Journey one doesn't have extra features, but does have concert footage for the songs they didn't have vids for. The Def one has some extras but I haven't watched them yet. I'm not asking for some huge elaborate package, just the basic vids. It doesn't seem like too much to ask. :(

Oh and for those who would say the SWW dual disc should count for something, I disagree. Those videos are hooked to the remastered (or whatever) version of the songs, and it just isn't the same.

Something tells me I'm just going to have to go to the work of transferring all the VHS I have over to DVD . . . which sucks. I hate doing that. I've had SWW & NJ sitting on my x hard drive since Live 8 . . .:|

Yeah, it would be good to have a video collection.

Unless there's a new one I haven't heard about, which is highly unlikely, the Journey DVD is definitely not ALL their videos.
For instance, it doesn't include Chain Reaction, which puts everything else to shame. :p

Okay, my bad . . . but unless there's a Bon Jovi DVD I haven't heard about, it's still a bigger collection than what they've put out on DVD. I guess I'm still irritated that "Cross Road: Deluxe Sound & Vision" included "Live from London" instead of "Crossroad: The Videos," which would've made more sense, and saved me from having to do it myself. ;)

Seriously, considering the band had like one of the biggest selling tours of last year, their record label has been awful at cashing in recently ... no live DVDs from either of their last two major tours, no video collection DVD ... I'm sure one day they'll get their act together and release it, perhaps as a companion piece to the new greatest hits? That would make sense, and if they don't do that, they need a serious slap

I agree I would also love a dvd like this , I think most fans would buy it.

Yep, there was more money to be made on a video collection and live tour dvds for sure. I agree with you and think that with the Greatest Hits II there will be a dvd of some sort.

I guess the problem with a video collection is that there are so many of them - and which ones to include and which ones not to. If they did put EVERY video in a collection, it would easily be 2 discs and therefore more expensive. Other than people on this board, who would pay for it? Especially since most of the videos can be found on Youtube for free. I think music video DVDs are a tough sell nowadays and if I were the record company I would be reluctant to release one.
And let's face it, most of the videos the average person wants are on the Cross Road DVD already.

Well that's my cynical viewpoint anyway.

I've never understood why the likes of 'An Evening With Bon Jovi' has never been re-released on DVD either.

I Would locve to have a video collection on dvd, there's a lot of videos, esp from These Days 'till now that I don't have.
