Someone enlighten me why the song being in the movie is a sure sign it's not on the album.

Sure sign? No. The facts remains that

a) Lord claimed he didn't hear the words "Lost highway" in any of the samples he got
b) They record company is liscensing this song to the movie company, I don't even know how that works, if that means they can't include as they don't have the rights
c) Last source we saw, the album will be called "Nasville Sessions". This is a similar scenario to when Sex Sells became One wild night when SS didn;'t end up making the record

*Shrugs* I don't think this officially means LH won't be on the new record but, to me at least, this leads me to believe it won't. I could be wrong.

You'll have to make a more comprehensive list to convince me. :lol:

I found someone to who wants to see the movie as well, so we're going to see it Friday night. I told her we HAD to sit through the credits and she told me she's seriously worried about my obsession with Jon Bon Jovi. LMAO

Usually when Amazon has it listed that way it comes out pretty quick though.

There's already word on the Imdb message board that there is some kind of extra scene following the end credits so alot of people could stay through the song that don't care for Bon Jovi.

So it could be just another strategy to listen to a new song on the forthcoming bon Jovi album, That's just another posible scenario.

This makes them seem like sneaky bastards don't it?

I've considered that. It's just so....un-them. It's seriously breaking my brain trying to figure this out, I hate knowing only 2/3 of a puzzle. They haven't done stuff like this since the mid 90's when they brought out TD songs early for live crowds.

What I just don't like is how good people said the song was at the listening party, and then to just throw it away for the end credits of a B comedy. I mean if I had actual confirmation that there would be a soundtrack release, my worries would be a bit easied but it's highly possible this is the last we'll hear of the song. Who knows, I'm getting way ahead of myself here. See what happens when I think? BAD things.

I am really agreing with you on this .. I feel "almost" fooled I have to admit ... we got to listen to this song it's a good song ..ok it's good I don't say it's a masterpiece but it's GOOD and it rocks ..i am "sure" Jon brought this song to HRC so the fans in europe can relax about the coming cd (hey we all know that country is not gonna get along with marketing in europe ..it's not that we are selfish wanting to get jovi WORLD WIDE for this cd it's that country is really not possible market outside the usa ) relax guys this cd is NOT COUNTRY LISTEN !!! yeah right and what now the song is gone to B movie (maybe funny but still B ) and the song is PROBABLY dead .. if the cd to come was a regular rock one I wouldn't mind that much but this cd is country more or less and from the 3 songs I heard from it I KNOW that the 4th song which end on this soundtrack was the best and yes I feel fooled sorry when i realise that Jon made us listen to a soundtrack song (!! )

Can't hear it enough really, I looked on the Apple site because usually the HD trailers have 5.1 (so I could have stripped the centre channel out and maybe heard it better) but this particular one is only in stereo :roll:
