I have never in my life come across someone so unbelievably stupid. You're not just willingly ignorant and utterly delusional, you are just devoid of any common sense and even a modicum of intellect or education. I swear you must have an IQ of below 50. It's just unbelievable.

Seriously dude... It's just a topic. Why do come off like a prick. You're posts might have more intelect if after every statement, you didn't call someone stupid or an idiot.

That's not about the topic, that's about the absolutely stupidity shown time and again by that guy. Just read his last few replies and wonder why I replied the way I did. If I came across as a prick then perfect, because I was trying to be as insulting as I could towards him. The guy is just beyond belief.

And go back and see that after "every" post, I did not call someone stupid or an idiot however in the few ones I did, I stand by them as I had ample reason to do so.

I haven't read it, which is why I try not to discuss specific things about it, just the general ideas of religion. The fact that there are so many religions anyway only shows how none of them are right. You can't just pick one and say it is true, they all have different teachings, different explanations of life and the universe, and all in contradiction with each other. I have no interest in reading any of them at the moment, perhaps in the future I might out of interest, but I would treat them as any other book I read - I only read fiction.

Mr Anderson ... Neo needed to believe to have faith in himself :D thats how we do anything... how do you get out of bed ? because you believe and have faith that your legs will hold you up...if for some reason they dont then you have faith that some one else will look after you... you get up everyday to enjoy life... how do you know it is there to be enjoyed.... faith....

believing in yourself and life requires fundamental love....its not automatic we need love to grow and learn. Tests have been done if you keep an animal caged and void of love , he will remain caged even when the cage is taken away.

The bible is history and like any history everyone has a different veiw of how history occurred. I think the bible is the best epic ever , it has everything and its difficult to put it down once you start to read it. Some bibles are harder to read than others because of the language used , so if anyone decideds to read one they should pick an easier version. I started with Good News bible...

I'm doubting whether to find it ironic or just hilarious. I think I'll go for both.

Nero is the guy who fiddled while Rome burned ... or something

Sounds quite dodgy actually

Well if that is how you live then fine, but I don't. To me faith means hoping on a tiny chance, and I know that there is a good chance when I wake up that I can physically get out of bed and have a good day. If I had to rely on hope/faith whatever you want to call it then I don't think I'd enjoy myself at all.
