mistakes while playin the show

the band had made a few mistakes in the past while playin live...i mean like jon forgetting the lyrics and the crowd helping out, richie's guitar strap came off and he had to play his guitar down his knees!! hehehehe...did any other mistakes or accidents happen during the show, like tico breaking his sticks, or tearing his skins, or dave playin the wrong tune...if u guys know this kinda things happened b4, plz do share, cos i like 2 read the part they cover up for their mistakes...hehehe...thanx again....

I read an interview with Jon where he said that one time at a German show Tico started playing a completely different song to the one on the setlist.

Also, at Gateshead 2000 Jon mis-read the setlist and was ready to play one song when the band where ready for another (from memory Jon was expecting Mystery Train when the others where ready for It's My Life) - Jon simply laughed and explained that he had drunk too much the day before in London and that he only wrote the setlist - he didn't read it.

Jon forgets the lyrics to the second verse of Sleep-Dead quite often. And Richie forgot the lyrics of The Answer in Cologne 1998 and needed help from the fans.

That a guitar string breaks happens quite often.

In Leipzig 2000 the belt of Richie's guitar opened just before the guitar solo of KTF so he had to play the solo kneeling to hold the guitar. The first time ever I saw him kneeling while playing the guitar.

In Bremen 1998 Jon dropped his microphone during one song. And when I remember right the same happened at a nother solo-show of him.

It also happened a few time that there was no electricity on stage for some time. In Essen 2000 and I think in Belgium or somewhere last year, too.

I know that there was a European show in 2000 when Bon Jovi were performing It's My Life and in the intro, Dave hit a wrong note and you can clearly hear it. I forget what show but know it was Europe 2000.

On the live from London video (from Wembley 95), at the beggining of Lay your hands on me, Jon forgets the lyrics, and he sings something strange and then he starts to laugh, you can see it clearly.

On the China club concert from the Crush tour, at the very beggining of Captain Crash, Richie played a wrong note, and Jon stoped the song and started to make fun of Richie saying that he had made a mistake and that the reason to make the mistake was that they had too much drugs in the 80's.

A few days back, at the accoustic show in Barcelona, people started to request Always, and Jon said that they didnt remembered the song very well; they started to play (only Jon and David) and at the middle they had to stop becouse none of them knew how to continue. It was pretty funny!!

i think richie made a mistake on the intro to bed of roses in 95...forgttoen which show tho...and his guitar has blown a few times...

This is why I love live shows, you'll never know what to expect! :)

Wow, I wish they'd make some mistakes when I go to a concert- it must be funny!

Last year, in Padova, Jon was sick and Richie sang half bad medicine but he didn't remember the words. It was pretty funny!

Just goes to show the guys are human, and can laugh it off as well, it certainly keeps the crowd entertained eh, lol
