According to Wikipedia, the band first came together in March 1983, so yah, tis entirely possible!

I was at the Continental Arena concert in 2003 when Jon said that Runaway was 21 years old. He also said that if we met it down the shore during the summer we should buy it a drink - it was legal LOL. I know he originally did that pre-band but still, that makes it 25 years. Sounds right to me.
