Well Richie was on the radio in LA this morning and apparently says the band is starting a tour in the fall in conjunction with a new GH's package, no start date or definite info was given so whether it's worth anything or not, who knows???

I also heard this today. Sounds promising, though he would be desperate to get back on the road as home life has fallen apart!

Nah - he has a new main squeeze - he probably wants to stay home.

I will be delighted with some concerts later in the year. :D

I was listening to the interview ... he said many things ... he was first interviewed about a fundraising he is doing with tons of great musicians on march 23rd

the guys asked about Denise they were tacky but Richie did good staying nice and enjoying the interview but didn't talk too long about that (he said he is HAPPY )
The 2 djs asked about the new album (they didn't soiund that much into country to be hinest they said the number on radio country phenomenon was weird ) Richie said it was done with that producer Huff he sounded happy but not too much just happy he said something like rock and roll meeting nashville (from his words it's way more rock than country) he said they will tour with a greatest hits in fall ... not sure I am remembering it all coz i forgot to "save" the interview while streaming (sorry)

Although, Richie has said tour related things before that never panned out. Didn't he say they were going to Australia on the HAND tour and that obviously didn't happen?

Great news Id much rather they tour with a GH than the new album. In fact a tour in 2008 would fit in quite nicely with my plans to see them in the US :)

He sure did. I think Richie lies as much as Jon...Jon said he would never do a nostalgic tour didn't he??
