MAM best ever?
i've been playing this song all week and unlilke the other post 2000 songs i've heard i still can't get enough of it
and its currently my favourite record that BJ have produced in the last ten years whats worse is the more i thing about it, its never goin to get the commercial success that it deserves esp not in the UK |
I like Make a Memory alot. Its not my favorite song, but one of them. I still think Any Other Day will get alot of attention.

There is deffinatley sopmething speical about this song and the album from what we have heard so far!!! im just hoping it doesn't dissapoint as everyone seeems to now have great great hopes and expectations!

Well, I must say that this is the best ballad they've released since These Days. They've kind of lost the "wow" factor in their ballads since then, but this is up their with their best ballads. And Jon's vocals are incredible on this song, I haven't heard them sound this good in a while (and I'm remember on the demo's I was worried that his voice sounded kind of weak!) But yes, I think that this is going to be a fantastic CD and hopefully we'll be able to hear some of these songs when they decide to tour again.

the album i'm not excited about just yet, not if they gonna put i love this town, lost highways (used in soundtrack) not to mention a NFL advert
|
it seems to be very good compared to any post 2000 song, we'll see in a couple of months if that is still the case...

Make A Memory is a great song but I don't think it's their best song, their best ballad or the best song they've made in the last 10 years.
I've gotta say I'm not particularly excited about this album and I don't have any real expectations that it's going to be great. Of the seven songs I've heard, there's only two that stand out as great songs (Make a Memory and On Any Other Day). The rest are totally empty, forgettable, meaningless songs. |
Their best song ever? No, of course not. Probably their best officially released ballad since This Ainīt A Love Song though.
|
Yeah I agree, not their best song. Bon Jovi's best song lines are Dry County, Blood on Blood. etc. Make a Memory is their best ballad since This Ain't A Love Song Though. Thank you for loving me was good, just didn't have enough spice.
|
I think it's close to being their best ballad since 2000.
I still think Welcome to "Wherever You Are" is better, though I guess you can debate if that's a ballad. |
