Just Wondering About These Elimination Games. How Do You Base Your Vote?
 

By its tune? Or lyrics/message? Popularity? Or some nostalgic moments/how much it means to you? etc...

Just wondering...

I base my vote on which songs sounded the less appealing to me. The songs I less liked.

Mostly, on how well I like a song.

If there's an obvious trend for voting a song out, then I may go with the trend b/c that song is almost or equally ranked in my mind than the one I would have picked first.

Sometimes it's about protecting a song moreso than getting rid of another one.

I've done that a few times.
Mainly I base i on how much I like a song,and how often I listen to it.

Usually I just vote for the song I like the least. Or the song that I'm least likely to want to listen to. For example, according to my iTunes, there are 5 songs from Crush that I haven't listened to all the way through since 2004. :rolleyes:

But I also have voted a few times to try to save another song.

Pretty much the same as the above people explained. I don't decide which is the better song academically - I decide based on my subjective liking or disliking of a song. If I skip a particular song every time I listen to an album - it goes first.

That said - there are few Bon Jovi songs that I actually hate with a passion and refuse to listen to. I just like some a whole lot more than others.

a little bit of everything ... but mostly how I like or not the song .. it's easy at the beginning very tough when just 2 or 3 songs remain

for me it's very subjective but sometimes my liking or not is very wise and well thought sometimes it's NOT

for example I vote save the world out because I just can't stand those lyrics...not liking the lyrics made me just plain dislike the song ...but IK don't like the unbreakable lyrics but I like the song :p I am complicated

I generally choose the song that I most feel like puking after listening to :)

Seriously though, don't we all just choose the song we, er, don't like in an elimination?!
