The HAND Final Giants Bootleg
Hi
I presume most of you have this; on the night did the smirk really appear between every song or is this just the editing by the maker of the bootleg? Suppose this is really for people who were there...... Just curious, thanks |
I don't have it. :(

I was at the show and I have the bootleg DVD. I was a little disappointed with the DVD because there were so many smirks between songs and sometimes even during the songs. It was very frustrating to watch and know what I was missing. So, to answer your question, it wasn't like that at the show.

No - it wasn't like that at the show. The reason the smirk is there is due to video dropouts for various reasons. A lot of drunk people move past the filmer and kick the tripod - whoops. This usually accounts for video glitches at the beginning and ending of songs - people heading for beer or the bathrooms.
Sometimes security passes by and the camera has to disappear during the song. It sucks but that's the nature of bootlegs. This particular concert has some of the highest quality video seen on a bootleg. This is mostly due to the high quality of the camera and the high quality of the video screen that was used by the band. The audio isn't bad either if I do say so myself :p Kathleen |

All three of the Giants videos have Paul's audio dubbed - night one I think might be mixed with someone elses depending on which version you have. Kathleen |

The final HAND Bootleg is my favorite from that tour. I believe that is the best. Mad props for Kathleen as always. You rule. I wish I was there. BOBITA + These Days! Can't beat that.
