This left feels right......after a while
i know many of you guys hate it, but lately, i've been in a dark calm mood, just wanted something out of casual to listen to, it came out as TLFR.
At a point it felt like i was not moving on, TLFR sounds more mature more up to date, for me at least, i just seem to like its calmness, i like its twisted style, maybe its cause its more mature and its still jovi,,,dunno, or is it i've become more calm with age? add to that the wanted version of it is sooo cool, where i live jovi is not that popular , only the other day i played that song in my car while parked infront of univ, it rocked the place, sounded so damn energetic. i can't figure why so many people just hate the album, knowing that i used to hate it too, thinking it ruined the old songs, only take it from a perspective of the mood ure in, no need to care about what jovi do to their songs, its their problem if they ruin them or not. At least its an album for some days...these days. |
I love the version of "Wanted..."

I'm one of very few, who actually liked TLFR when it came out and I still love it. I play it quite often.

I liked it the first time I heard it, and I still do now. I know not many people do, doesn't mean that I'll change what I think to 'fit in' though. Some of the tracks are a bit boring, like Bed Of Roses and I'll Be There For You, but I think some are quite interesting versions, like You Give Love A Bad Name, Bad Medicine, Lay Your Hands On Me and Keep The Faith. I still like to put it on for a play through sometimes.

You Give Love A Bad Name turned out very well. Never cared to much for the original.

I didnt like it when I first heard it, but I do now, I find it relaxing and usually listen to it when I have a headache...

I liked it from hearing the very first time.

I like Wanted, Faith, Hands, Medicine (somewhat), and Bed Of Roses.
The others I'm ambiguous on. Never liked the version of Bad Name. The version of prayer would be good, if not for the queen of screetch. |
I have to say I love TLFR. I think that it offers a calm version of BJ. if you are in a quiet mood and need some relaqxing music then what better than to listen to the soothing tones of the band. and i also have to say that my baby daughter is quite partial to the music as opposed to the boring kiddie lullabies you get. I love it and always will!
