its a good song but it isnt better than both his solo albums put together... there are a few stand out songs on both albums

I'd pick Church of Desire, Stranger in this Town, Mr Bluesman, Harlem Rain, Fallen From Graceland over If I Can't Have Your Love anyday.

If 'If I can't have your love' would have been on stranger and another song, any other song would've been taken off you would be saying the exact same thing.
It's just the appeal that b-sides and outtakes have, it makes you believe that the grass is greener on the other side, That's just the way I see it, because that's what you're constantly, CONSTANTLY on.

If I Can't Have Your Love is an okay song. Ballad of Youth, Stranger In This Town, Hard Times Come Easy, and Undiscovered Soul are far much better.

Its good, vocally awesome, but its got nothing really on anything off Stranger in this town.

I like it but there are better songs on his solo CD's (ie. Who I Am, Father Time, All that Really Matters, Made In America, etc.) imo...
