A NOTE TO OUR EUROPEAN FANS

It has been brought to our attention via the message boards, emails and faxes as well as feedback from promoters is Europe, regarding BSWJBJ members who are eager to get their fan club seating information for the upcoming tour. We would like to ease your minds. THERE WILL BE SPECIAL FAN CLUB ARRANGEMENTS FOR THE VENUES!!!! However, this information will not be processed until approx a month before each show! PLEASE STOP CONTACTING THE PROMOTERS AND VENUES!!! They work with us on this and will not work any faster if you bother them!! It looks poorly on the fans, BSWJBJ and the band! If fans remember, for the CRUSH TOUR we worked on the same timeline, fans received information a few weeks before each show. BACKSTAGE WILL HAVE THE ARRANGEMENTS FOR YOU, JUST ENJOY THE HOLIDAY SEASON!!!!!!!!

But of course, the same rules naturally apply to everyone. People just can't seem to grasp the fact that there is absolutely nothing they themselves can do about the fan club arrangements at this point, and that contacting the promoters or the venues won't help them one bit. BSWJBJ and BJM will deal with everything once the time is right...and they will do so in a professional manner, using whatever business practices etc they see fit.

There are always fans who have "friends" or "contacts" at the promoters office or the record company or at the venue or at the ticketing service, and at times those fans seem to be under the illusion that they're doing themselves and their fellow fans a huge favour by bugging their "friend" or "contact" for information or by asking them to sort out fan club arrangements or any other similar thing. What those people fail to see is that unless their "friend" or "contact" is the very person who negotiates all the business deals etc with Bon Jovi's scheduling agents or BJM or whoever does that job for them, their attempts at "helping the fans" are more likely to hinder than help BSWJBJ from achieving their goals. BSWJBJ and BJM have all the knowledge and power they need to sort out something like the fan club arrangements, they don't need any extra middlemen or women hassling around at this point. And if people continue to bug their "contacts" or the promoters/venues/record company branches in general about fan club arrangements, it might be that by the time BSWJBJ and BJM would be ready to sort out everything, the people on the other end could be so fed up with all kinds of fan club stuff that it would be very difficult to negotiate and make deals with them about whatever arrangements BSWJBJ would have in store for us.

That's what i was saying Anu, the Europeans are as bad as they Aussies in this aspect, judging from the same reaction from BSWJBJ anyway. Also i don't think it's got anything to do with contacts etc, seems some people arew just ringing the ticket company etc, you don't need a "contact" to do that.
