Jon Flips Middle Fingers!
 

Anyone see the Philly Soul game last night, April 9? Jon was there, and on a call for the other team, early in the fourth quater, Jon got so pissed that he flipped off both fingers to the refs! No one saw it, but the cameras didn't block it out. Had to post this, it made me laugh!

I was at the game. I'm sure the double flip off from Jon came after the Georgia Force scored a touchdown near the end of the third quarter that the Soul players and the crowd saw as a non catch. The whole crowd was screaming "as$hole" to the referee that made that call. Haa...I'm sure ESPN had to make sure that didn't make it on TV, lol!

yeah, i woulda had a pic, but i couldnt find one. and, i wasn't watchin the game on my DVR, so i couldn't take a pic. and i dont have a digital camera either... :(

Jon issued an apology to the fans on the Soul website. Personally, I don't feel it was necessary but I'm sure he felt he had to do it:

Dear Soul Fans,

I just want to address my actions at last night’s Soul vs. Georgia Force game. As everyone knows my passion for our game and my passion for our team runs very deep and last night it got the best of me. I was caught up in a moment and my emotions took over. While I do not want to rehash everything, I addressed the matter with the media, the AFL, ESPN and the Georgia Force. I never should have done it, I didn’t mean it and I am sorry. I would hope that this incident will not tarnish our team, our league, our partners and most of all our great fans.
