Jovi Announced 02 Arena - London

it is in LONDON , sorry to ommit that part in the title

the rumour is turning into reality ... BBC announced jovi opening the new venue O2 on june 24th .....

fingers crossed that it's won't be a nightmare to get tickets !!

not sure it was worthy a new thread but I think it's an important info for the fans in UK and in Europe

This is the old Millenium Dome which is seen as a white elephant.
Hopefully Bon Jovi can now give it some credibility.
I am abit suprised that it's only been mentioned on Radio 6 though - this is only a digital station so the news won't have been heard by many!
I would also like confirmation from bj.com!

lol if bonjovi.com is as fast for this than for the tiger jam announcement we can expect some confirmation at the end of april ;)
they have not yet announced the release date for the cd outside the usa ...so i don't expect them to announce anything

maybe there were some other reasons beside the mixing of the cd when Jon was in london finally

This would piss me off extremely, cos thats the day I'm seeing Aerosmith!

If it is true, promoters need to make sure they don't put big bands who more than likely share a considerable portion of their fanbase on on the same day!

I think it happened when I saw Def Leppard last year as well, although I can't remember who the other band were

If anyone is a subscriber at http://www.musicweek.com/title.asp theres an article there about this, it came up when i googled ''bon jovi o2 millenium dome'' but i cant read it.

But anyways, hoping this actually happens so much! I didnt think Id get to see again so soon.

As Justin Timberlake was billed as the first act there, in July, I think BJ deserve the opening chance this time after the Wembley fiasco dont you?

Aslong as the O2 is finished in time by June 24th......deja vu anyone?! :s :s

Jeez your right with regards the fanbase aspect. I say 90% of fans are fans of both bands. Thats like Maiden and Metallica playing the same city on the same day..i dont think i could choose.

But this O2 date is beginning to look more than just a rumour.

And at 23,000 capacity this would be the first ''smaller'' indoor gig i will have seen them, which would be a nice difference.
