TickEx
Hey
Does anybody know anything about TickEx! ? Is it any good? Is it trustworthy? Is the site safe etc? Thanks |
Never heard of it. I guess it might be a tout so don't use it.
|
It's a ticket tout. STAY AWAY.
|
Thanks very much

I would trust TickEx over ebay sellers!
|
Yeah, and ebay charge twice the price for tickets! Argh!

Ebay is asking for trouble. But so are these ticket tout agencies - i was seriously screwed over last tour.
I was trying to get Gold circle, and bought from an ebay seller (who i didnt know at the time had bought them himself from a tickettout agency). His source went bankrupt and he wouldnt refund me, which led to a PILE of hassell. It gets worse - i had previously changed my mind, and so decided to sell my gold circle ticket (which i didnt even have, and didnt know that the ebay seller's source was no longer) So i had sold this ticket, which i didnt have and basicly didnt exist. And then the gig got moved to Milton Keynes... And i bought another gold circle eventually... ..and then the event staff wouldnt let me in the inner gold circle area, despite being one of the first there. whole thing was a shambles! andi |

....just a word of caution.
If you buy with a credit card and the ticket agency ( I use this term loosely) somehow doesn't come up with the goods (maybe cos they didn't have it in the first place). You may get you money back under egual liability Consumer Credit Act rulings. However if you went through a third party to pay (a payment agent) the Credit card company will not accept liability. To be safe check with your CC Co before. |
