Had a break from Jovi, now BACK!
Hi guys,
I was a member of BWJBJ for a long time but couldn't afford to renew after last summer, so I haven't really been in touch with what's going on. It's weird to come back to Jovi, and find a whole new world in youtube that wasn't there before, or at least that I didn't know about before! I have been propelled back into the whole Jovi madness after realising that I couldn't afford London tickets for the Dome, and amazed at how totally gutted I was at that! So out come the CDs etc and yep...it's very much still there! The bug just doesn't go that easily huh! Anyway I have a question. As I have no idea what's really been going on, I'd like to know if it's worth getting BWJBJ membership now? Obviously London is out of the window (dammit!)...is there anything else coming up? I can't see anything or any whispers. Love to know though... Cheers, Vicki |
Nahhh, nothing at all to join for... the next thing which is likely to be coming up is a tour next summer...meaning you might aswell just join up at the end of this year if it gets announced...because if you sign up now your membership will be ran out by november anyway! meaning no advantage at all...
there wasnt any advantage being a fanclub member for the 02 london show unless you wanted to fork out £350 for the FC event...which you just get to sit in on the soundcheck, you get dinner and get good seats in the first 15 rows...utter rip off!.... so your just paying for the message board at the minute basically! thats all ive been paying for anyway when thinking about it :( |
Hmm I think I might wait until the end of this year then!
Thanks for the reply! :) I do miss the board though, but it's probably changed a lot anyway. |
Hey! Welcome back to the Jovi world...but I am curious. Are you saying that because you weren't in the fan club anymore, that you lost interest in the band completely for a while?
|
Well...life got really busy I was working 8.30 - 5 then from home until stupid hours in the night so I didn't get time to spend thinking about it really.
I can't say I lost interest, I don't know if I could ever do that! I just spent more time listening to some of the great bands and artists that are around at the moment (My Chemical Romance, GreenDay, The Fratellis etc) and somehow the Jovi CDs kinda slipped to the back of the cupboard - only getting an airing once every now and again. Today, the sun was shining, it was a lovely day and I was in a great mood - and all I could think about wanting to listen to was Jovi. I went through all the CDs and LOVED it...can't think why I didn't listed for that time!! So in answer to your question, no - I didn't lose interest in the band. I just couldn't keep up with all the gossip and news, then got a few new interests... That's life I guess. Now I'm 100% back in the Jovi spirit and I can't see it ending anytime soon!!!!!! :D Vicki x |

Sorry I still havent worked out how to do the "quote" thing! |

but ye your reason for joining the fan club was exacly the same reason as mine! for o2 tickets..but arghh well :) |
Vicky welcome back in the jovi land ...
I think honestly you dont need to buy a backstagemembership right now as compare to before now you can be MEMBER instantly ON THE NET ... so no ned to rush if something happen you will know about it on here and it seems that for now the fan cmub is more into events trip pack stuff like that ... a lot of money ...everything is expênsive .. very expensive and nothing is included anymore (so far) like you are amember but to get good tickets you have to buy them the regular price X3 congrat daftkast for such a great seat !!!!! I got pre sale at A1 row K :o |
Hi Mireille nice to see a familiar face! :)
