Jon On Larry King
I just saw Jon performing Make a memory acoustic on the toast to Larry King's on CNN.The guys werent there but the people he uses when he does shows by himself was there instead. It sounded good except that the other guitar player sang Ritchie's vocal too high.Jon's vocal was better than the AI performance.
Supposedly they are on Monday's episode of Ellen but I am not sure if the whole band is with him.I just thought I'd share. |
I liked the performance. I wonder why they didn't show the song from the beginning though rather than just cutting in on the second verse. I actually thought Bobby sounded really good with Jon. I like the acoustic arrangement. It was nice to see Everett Bradley as well.

Its got to the stage where im so reliant on the internet that i now just assume that these types of things will be uploaded onto youtube instantly. Well, where is it?!

Can someone post the link when/if it is found. I was out last night and missed it. Thanks!

^ There it is. Poor quality, but by the sounds of it, this song comes across a lot better when played with this band:eek: . |

But i do admit that Bobbys vocals were good, better than Richies on IDol for sure. And that violinist is hawt... andi |
Sounded good. Dare I say it, but I think Bobby's voice actually sounded more in harmony with Jon's. Someone shoot me.
Oh, and could have been just me, but Larry didn't look too impressed. |
Yeah! I liked this version! The fiddle was great and the pedal steel became a bigger part of the song. Jons voice is strong in this song (all versions/performance) reminds me of the 90's.

Right then, who wants to sign my petition to have Bobby replace Richie? |
