Does anyone else share my problem?

I have always wanted to go to a BJ concert since, well, i can remember and i promised myself i would go this time, but i couldnt find anyone to go with. its not like i dont have any friends, i do, but none of them have expressed any great enthusiasm in going to see them live. i bought the new album, so i could have bought tickets very early, but i didnt because i was still trying to persuade people to go (to no avail). My question is, do u think theres any point in getting a ticket now, will all the good seats and standing tickets gone?

Yes i have that problem to some extent. My friends don't hate Bon Jovi but wouldn't go to a show unless i'm desperate. And they are really great and have come to shows with me before, but it was out of the goodness of their hearts not because they are fans. This time around i'm going to Sydney Rumba with my little sister! As far as going by yourself i'd say do it. Even if all the good seats are gone, at least your there right?!

I'm fortunate in that I have a fiance' to drag with me to the show, but if I didn't have anyone that wanted to go with me, I'd go alone. No shame in that. You'll regret not going later more than you'll regret going alone. As for what seats you'll get....like Emma said, even if they are not so good seats, at least you were there.

U have two choices:

1) Buy your friends a ticket anyway & say u bought it for them...if u r my true friend you'd go with me ..blah, blah

or

2) Buy one for yourself & meet up with the good ppl from Dry County.

I agree with Mike.
Last year I dragged my best friend to the Giants Stadium show even though she didn't want to go. Well, she ended up loving it and now she's a huge BJ fan and can't wait to see them next year.
If you really can't find someone who wants to go with you, go alone! I went to a show alone last year. I met some really cool people and had a great time. And it's better to be there alone than not at all, right? :)

Yes, well allmy friends hate..and i say hate bon jovi... and they let me know about it. I still asked them anways if they wanted to come, but thwn they found out i was only going to Rumba! for BJ they said no. Wouldnt even go if I brought them a ticket. Well I managed to find an old friend who likes that 'poppy' stuff, so he' scoming with me now.

But yeah..it does suck when you can't fina anyone to go with.

For me it also always difficult to find someone, who goes to the concert with me!!!
My friends only like some Bon Jovi songs which they heard in the radio, but they are not interessted in going to a concert. And also they say, the tickets are too expensive for them. They would come with me, if I bought them the tickets..... but I don't want to spend that much money!!!! I'm not soooo rich!!!!! :D :D So, once I took my brother with me, or I went alone.
If you have no other choice, going alone is also ok, I think!!! There are so many people on the concert...... I'm sure you can meet some nice persons there!!! And when the concert starts...... then you don't need anybody around!!!!!

Even if I have to travel alone to the concerts. At the concerts themselves I meet so many people that I know or get to know so many new people that I'm never alone at a concert and always have someone to chat while waiting for the beginning.

It's really no problem to go alone to a concert, you always find someone to chat.

I traveled always with my tourmate, for a long time now, but I did meet lots of people on the way. Some are nice and some I just never want to see again( though that doesn`t work, they go to the same shows as I do).
Some will be friends for life and some are real disgusting or even enemy`s for the rest of your life. But you can go alone, we will always be there and believe me, most of the people you meet are friendly.

I would go to a show alone if I had to. One year none of my friends wanted to use a 7th row ticket I had as an extra and I wound up taking my mom! I might not go to a movie if no one wanted to go with me, but a Bon Jovi concert is something I wouldn't miss.
