What she said:D :D

I've just changed to Firefox and this is one of many improvements I've noticed. With IE my computer was crashing with all the pop ups...and 'cos I've still got Windows ME:oops:
Well worth a try. You can always go back.

At the end of the day, if the site's good points don't out-weigh the bad-points, that shoud stop you coming here.

I never get a pop up or advert on this site thanks to 20mins configuring this n that.

btw WINDOWS ME!!, omg buy a cheapo Dell with XP on it FFS :D Seriously, they are worth it.

ME is fine, there's nothign wrong with it. People slag it off for no reason.

I use Mozilla Firefox too and come to the boards via a bookmark and never get popups here either.

Maybe for those getting lots you should try running Spybot or Ad-aware. It may be that spyware is causing you to get more popups.

Every version of Windows has that.

True. But it does seem to be improving, I haven't seen it on my XP once and I've had it quite a good few years - mind you in saying that with all these viruses on it it's going painfully slow and well...I'd rather the blue screen that this slowness.

*gets ready to wipe......that didn't sound too good*

I've seen that plenty of times on my XP machines and even on Vista.
