I hope that Jovi.........
...play some of the old stuff at the O2 gig.
I have seen them play live about 11 times since 1990 and they have never done my 2 favs - wild is the wind and Stick to your guns. They also have never done anything of the 7800o album - which me and my mates love. so if you are reading this jon - crack out the classics at the o2 !!! |
I unfortunately think it's unlikely that they'll play anything off of 7800 ever again, with the possible exception of Tokyo Road in Japan and maybe In & Out Of Love, seeing as its the only one they put on Cross Road and One Wild Night
As for the other two songs, while there's the possibility they might be played on the next tour, they probably won't be for the 02. But hell, I could be wrong ... fingers croseed eh? :) |
I read that Jon said he never wants to do any 7800 songs on tours again. I'd love to see some of the guitar solo's from that album live, since all the guitar work on the album is brilliant. I hope that they'll do the other two songs as well on the new tour.

I wouldn't hold your breath for 7800, you'll be very blue before the band ever plays anything from that album since the consensus among them seems to be that they all hate that record.
As for o2 I'm guessing you will get 5 or 6 new songs and the rest will be varied hits and classics, but who knows it's a one off Jon could get bored and decide to be creative. |
I would also add that theres probably no chance of Stick to your guns being played, due to the fact that i dont thinks its EVER been played! Even though i think it would sound well live.
Wild is the wind is a small possibility though..very small..but hey, we got Living in Sin last time in Milton Keynes! andi |
Stick To Your Guns was played on the OWN tour. I want to say at Grand Rapids.
