Who cares, it's just money. It's not too much for an entrance of an afterparty. Those things are in Holland much more expensive.

Well we're not in Holland are we. And £30 to get into a shitty club, probably drinking flat ale at £4 a pint is, in my opinion, overpriced. Especially considering it was around £30 only 2 years ago to actually see the band perform live.

Living_on_my_Hair 06-05-2007 04:16 PM

I wonder how many people will buy these tickets under the false pretence that the band will actually be there? Suckers.

The band are under no obligation to show up, even if they do youl never see them in the VIP area and besides, it will probably be only Hugh and his posse of nerds.

it is done to make the ppl THINK the band might show up it is done to sound OFFICIAL but it is just a bar .. those ppl who will go to have fun and drink will have fun and drink the others hoping for the band will be disappointed

they did the same sort of event after shepperds bush in 2002

There was an aftershow party at some skanky little pub down the road from the KC Stadium in Hull last year too - something tells me there wasn't a snowflake in hell's chance of the guys turning up to that!

Bless em, they did their best to pull in the punters though. It was quite funny actually - they saw that peeps had started filtering out of the stadium and, as we were walking past, we saw them plaster a rushed 'Bon Jovi Aftershow Party' sign up in the window that looked like it had been made by a toddler and the next thing we know, "Livin On A Prayer" was blasting out the windows! Haha!

£30 to listen to some prat play bon jovi records? :-)

anyone who goes to that is a ****ing idiot.

it costs less to get into the ministry of sound or any massive DJ ala prydz, sanchez, hed kandi nights up in glasgow.

Why do you care? It's obvious the band isn't going to be there, so just don't go. It's not like you're missing anything.

The only reason people keep having these "after-show" parties is because people are willing to go there and pay the price of the ticket. If there wouldn't be anyone there, they wouldn't have parties. So just don't go.

It is obvious that we all know that, and obviously again we do not intend to go. The point of my post was simply the stupid people who will actually pay for it. Its like the idiots every New Years Eve here who pay £30 for a night out in the same place they go every week, but this time theres a countdown and maybe a few balloons. Then its double fares on taxis home.

Some people are just stupid.

ice it's obvious to some people but not all of them and it amounts to a total shill especially if it's that price, a club that's affilliated with the o2 arena and running it through ticketmaster.

it could easilly make someone who's not that into gigging think bon jovi would be there.

i went to see the streets a few years back and some guy from edinburgh was like: hey man where is the cathouse? i told him and asked why. he said: the afterparty is there.

i had to explain to him that cathouse is an alt rock / grunge / metal club and the odds of the streets turning up there were nil.

ive also seen metallica aftershows advertised in techno clubs etc...

people do fall for this shit. fair enough metallica and the streets you've lost a fiver and are in a shitty club you're not expecting but charging £30 for it is bang out of order and there;s nothing wrong with people voicing their dislike of it.
