Hi everyone

I just want to let you know that my baby boy Agustin Javier was born on Tuesday May 29th at 6.45pm. I ended up staying at hospital a few days as I needed to have an emergency c-section, something I wanted to avoid completely but well, here we are back at home now and hubby and I are trying to settle into our new roles.

The other news are not so thrilling. My dad passed away last Sunday. Some of you may remember he had a colon cancer surgery last November and three weeks ago he had another surgery to have one kidney removed. He never felt quite well after this operation and my mum had to call an ambulance on Saturday morning. I am still in shock and the fact he didn't get to meet his grandson, breaks my heart. I guess he is no longer in pain and suffering and has now found some peace. Thank you to those who have asked me about him the last couple of weeks.

Wow, Venesa. I'm so sorry to hear about your father but congratulations on the birth of your son. You picked a great name too.

Oh Vanessa...he is beautiful. I'm so sorry for you, hubby, bubs and rest of your family re: your dad.

I'm sorry to hear about your loss, but glad to hear about your gain. I suppose maybe it just does go to show that when one door closes in your life, another one opens ... and hopefully takes you to somewhere even better

Oh Vanesa - talk about being torn by two different emotions. It's not too often you will experience such joy and such sadness so close together (fortunately). I'm very sorry for your loss.

Congratulations on the birth of your son. I think the best thing I could say to you is that I hope you enjoy him as much as I have enjoyed my children. My kids have been the ultimate life's experience and I am still learning from them (though I like to think that they have picked up a few things from me too :) )

Bittersweet news - I really can't imagine how you're feeling. I'm really sorry to hear about your father, Vanesa.

But congratulations on your baby! You both look fabulous, and he's so cute! Lovely picture.

sorry to hear about the death, its never nice at anytime, and almost unberable when it is unexpected. congrats on the birth of your little one!


i think it goes to the old saying of, when one lifes ends another begins, and im sure as your baby grows older you will see alot of your father in him
