Is Illene no longer with the band?

Just noticed in the credits in the booklet she's not with bon jovi management, but Mike Rew is? Anyone know when this change happened?

I know Mike and he actually recognizes me everytime i see him so i give him a lot of cool points for that :)

he used to work with obie as assisstant engineer, but with no obie this time maybe he temporarily moved to management...or switched careers...

maybe iileane did same thing - the albuk wasnt recorded in Jersey remember so maybe some folks couldnt/didnt make the trip...

That's a very good point, I never considered it. Although I assumed that's the management team all over, not just for this album. I didn't think "Bon Jovi Management" changed from album to album. Hm. Ah well, I jumped for the album credits as soon as I got the booklet, I love the weird random facts like that.

I was suprised that none of the record was recorded at Jon's studio. Seems with every passing album, it's used by them less and less. Other surprises: I figured Bobby would have played on the album, Richie including Luke Ebbins in his encyclopedia of thank yous. I've always had this theory that he was around more because of Richie than Jon but that's just me. Even when the band stopped using him, Richie continued. Meh.

Still, a fun read.

Richie thanks Ilene in his thank yous so maybe she is his assistant now.

True, but then again, who DIDN'T he thank. I think if you look closely even you and I are in there somewhere ;)

Haha yeah, I noticed that too .... I'm wondering if the fact that Richie thanked so many people means that he had more than usual input into this album? Or possibly just because right now he has more people to thank?

I guess he had more to thank people for, therefor more people to thank

He always thanks eveyone and the postman though. His thank you lists are always three times the size of the rest. It's more to do with Richie's nature I think.
