Well, then I suggest you mail the owner of the board, asking to get an information box on the top of the forum pages saying "Remember that in order to post, you must feel 100% up to it when posting. That means noone is allowed to post if they're tired, a bit excited, a little frustrated or just a tad lazy."

I know, bad joke. But you cant seriously expect every poster to be that thorough with their posts everytime.

I'm not asking people to be thorough, I'm suggesting that people be more considerate to the fact that not everyone can read txt speak, and if they are making a point which they want to be taken seriously they should put the effort in to making it at least legible.

Also, people 'know' a lot of things which are very, very much wrong. Just because something is common knowledge certainly doesn't make it true.

Personally, I had no idea that "idiot" could be translated to "senseless" if you havent mentioned it. And I think its common knowledge that the word "idiot" in general is a lot stronger than "senseless". And how was I to know you meant senseless back then? ;-)

And that can be asked in 2 ways: Nicely or rude. What would you prefer?

Perhaps because I posted the dictionary definition of it?

I don't really care.

Yeah, you did that after I confronted you with your use of the word in post #26.

Nice to know. I'd think most decent people would choose the polite way, but I guess the world is getting meaner and meaner.

If a person is not considerate enough to post in a legible manner then I'm not going to bother being polite to them.

What...are you being too lazy to write a polite response? ;-)

Seriously, I dont get that point of view of yours. It must be modern to act cool and rude towards people. Maybe we should make a poll asking people if they'd be polite or rude? I wonder how that'd go if no cheating was involved ;-)

Anyway, I'm off work so will respond to any posts later today or tomorrow. Cheerio :)
