The only "backstory" I know about AALY was that it was originally written for Leann Rimes, but I know nothing about Meat Loaf supposedly being involved .... ?

Well the writing credits, as listed in Bounce go to - Jon Bon Jovi, Richie Sambora, Andreas Carlsson and Desmond Child.

I think it would have fit Meatloaf perfectly. Song sucks almost as much as he does.

Sorry Loaf fans - I can't stand that guy.

I remember Jon saying that at some point but I don't remember where. Probably some promo interview at the time.
