Richie - O2
On Backstage there's a post saying that Admin have answered saying that Richie will be there.
Might be a stupid question, but do you think this will mean he'll be playing or he will just be backstage?? I initially just assumed it meant that he'd be playing but a friend has just asked me the question so now I've got a doubt in my mind |
Errr........ It would seem strange for him to 'be there' and not 'be playing' to be honest.
|
He'll be there. He's not going to make the trip and leave his support network behind to just sit around backstage. If he was there he wouldnt stand for not playing. Look how happy he looked to be playing on today and that view programme. His music is probably acting as his therapy.

He'll be there and playing for sure and hopefully Jon will turn the mic over to him to sing one too. How appropriate Stranger In This Town would be.
|
I'd love to see 'The Answer' but the underlying emotions given recent events would probably be a little to raw and painful for him to do that song IMO. :(

Can you imagine the uproar if (and when*) he walks out onstage?
I totally agree that performing makes him feel better, it must do. Has their ever been a time in the bands history where there was this much apprehension? If that's a word. Dave |
Richie was has already left rehab. He was only there for a week. He's still going to have therapy but as for everything envolving the band Richie will be there. He only missed 2 shows. The Puerto Rico consert and one performance on a tv show. Richie is better and he's going to be there for the 02 event, as for everything else they have planned.

Unless something went weird the last day or so I would expect Richie to be with the band in London/Japan. the way Jon was talking on the View, he is doing fine, they have his "support" system taken care of so I don't see why he wouldn't be there.
|
I'll be at the Aerosmith gig but I'm sure the roar will be so loud when Richie walks out at the O2 that I'll hear it. Will be great to see him return. I have absolutely no doubt he'll be there.
