Got 3 local london papers for the reveiws and they were all good, more so about the venue than the band though.

"SAMBORA - this guy has had some troubled times recently but he came on stage last night like a man with a mission and had something to prove. And he certainly did that. The guy had his guitars screaming for mercy all night and he jus ignored them and screamed the shit out of them even more. I have never seen anyone play guitar better live than what he did last night!!!"

What A classic statement, made me have a huge smile on my face at the end of reading that.

I couldnt agree more, Richie was just unreal, He really did try to prove a point! After Any other day, i think we all got the picture that he was back!

Reading that gave me a great visual and then after watching the vids it seems to be a pretty accurate description. :)

You must have missed "The London Paper" .. its a freebie on the tube - but they said "The air-punching fists of 23,000 housewives .... the yummy-mummy screeches hit a crescendo"

Now this is a review. No mention of hair, posing or housewives - all meant to be put downs. Why is it worse to have a housewife as a fan than to have an engineer as a fan? (In my case I am both)

He only talks about the energy on the stage - Jon's voice - and Richies playing. Coming from someone else in the music business, who has seen many other shows it is high praise indeed.

I would think this review would please the band far more than the trivia that is usually printed.
