Live Earth

For those that are going or even not going has anyone heard when Bon Jovi is going to be onstage.I would love to see them second to last because i'd imagine that The Police would close.I also wonder if the band will jam with some of the others on the bill.I'd love to see Jon or Richie with Melissa Etheridge or Sting.

You know - I have no idea about order of appearance. I bought tickets ages ago and it finally hit me yesterday that this is next wekend LOL. Life gets really busy sometimes.

There are a lot of people I am looking forward to seeing though. I hope it doesn't rain or turn into 105 degree weather. A nice summer day of sitting in a stadium listening to music sounds like a great way to spend Saturday :D.

Well it's on BBC1 here most of the day so I'll be recording :D The show from Wembley will be on live here, and then (given the 5 hour time difference from GMT-EST) the highlights of the other shows will be on later :)

I could be delusional, but I'd expect them to be last. If not for the fact that they're in New Jersey alone, then because Jon is such good friends with Al Gore. I kind of expect Jon to be the one to introduce Gore when he speaks since he's supposed to make his appearance at the NJ show. Of course, I didn't know the Police were going to be there either.

Man I wish I was going. Bon Jovi and Keith on the same bill... plus Melissa Etheridge and so many other great artists. :(

I too would have thought Jovi would close but acts like The Police and Roger waters make me think otherwise.I am looking forward to seeing Keith myself cause I enjoyed him at Live 8.

Kathleen I'm the nose bleeds but I''ll look down and say a virtual hey.Enjoy whether at home or there in person.

Kathleen, I'm sure you will have a great time there, my fingers crossed for nice weather.
I'll sit infront of my TV--hopefully watching all the stuff what we'll get from Saturday 5 am - to Sunday 6 am (that is what I was told) we here will get it on 2 different TV channels (N24 will broadcast most of the shows live--or PRO7)--but I'll also change sometimes my seat--to sit infront of my PC watching the webcast on www.liveearth.msn.com/

Well I will set my recorder before I go. I can only hope that American TV does a better job than it did with Live 8. They made such a mess out the music - and there was such a protest about it on the internet - that the network showed the entire show all over again a week later - with all the music shown this time.

Well MTV is showing bits and pieces here but BBC1 are showing it for most of the day, except to cut to the news I think, and they don't have adverts on there :)

Rumors are that Bon Jovi will go on rather early on which doesn't seem right to me but I guess we'll see.

I imagine it could end up being very similar to Live8. Bon Jovi will either go on first or second so as to ensure they'll be seen around the world when the other broadcasts end and the US one follows or they'll close the show. If they're not the closers I would bank on them being the openers.

And for UK and Ireland viewers, like Neil said it's on the BBC but again like Live8 I would assume it will all be interactive and you'll be able to choose which concert you want to watch.

I'm in work all day Saturday so I'll miss it:mad:
