"Terrorsim Minister"
Gordon Brown (it is so wierd thinking of him as Prime Minister) has created the post of Terrorism Minister in his Cabinet.
Is it just me, or does that sound like a job Skeletor should hold? |
|
he better buck up his ideas, even the backbench tory MPs were giving him lip today and he had nothing to give them back.
|
Gordon Brown has no charisma, the 'Clunking Fist' thing is a facade to put pre-spin on his inevitably shit stint as PM. Can't wait until I can afford to leave this country.
|
The poor man - not that I like him - has had a bad start. But it does feel as if his job is too much for him.
He's a bit creepy too :? |
no charisma, the job is too much for hime blah blah blah. Everybody keeps bitching about that and I don't understand where all this anti-sympathy comes from.
1) Charisma is important to win elections. As far as I see, he is prime minister already. What matters now is what he does, not what he says or the way he says it. 2) How does it seem "it's too much for him"?? It's one week since he is PM and for the past 10 years he has been the 2nd most powerful man in Britain. How the heck can people consider him incapable is beyond my understanding. Gordon Brown is a mastermind and the fact that he has made it to the top of the political scene speaks for itself. And please, don't tell me it was favorable circumstances or whatever... ...ahh, whatever. This unfavorable attitude simply pisses me off. You can criticize him in one year but what the press does now(even publications like The Economist) is ****in' stupid. It's like "He doesn't have the looks to be Prime Minister!" - well, who the **** cares how he looks? You wouldn't want Hugh Grant to be prime minister, now would you? |

I don't understand all the negativity either. Let him prove himself. He's been waiting for this for years, I'm sure he has had time to plan everything he wants to do, so lets give him a chance.
Oh, and talk of charisma - I think he has more than any of the opposition. Look at the last PM before Blair - John Major. About as much charisma as a dead turtle. Then look at the Tory leaders since him - William Hague, Ian Duncan Smith, Michael Howard - would you rather have them as PM? The only one with perhaps a little charisma is David Cameron now, but he's just trying to hard to fit up everyones arse so it just comes over as smarmy more than anything. |
terrorism XXXL - the atomic planebomb
*tourism* is the greatest threat of the 21st century.
the poor countries of the world earn 70% of their countries´ annual income from *terrorism*. i was thinking carbombs, i was thinking 9-11 and then i was thinking Iran: ---->"this is Iranian Airlines flight-666 from Teheran to N.Y.C., in our freight rooms beneath the passenger cabines we safely wrapped transport a rolls royce, a gift from the Iranian gouverment for impeacing the relations between the US and Iran"........but it s not a car in there...in the trunk of a car a tnt-bomb just fits but in a peaceful looking passenger planes freight room....................*hint:"chainreaction..."- so after common explosives carbombs there will be nuclear explosiv planebombs so guys: don t sell Iran any Urine....eh Urianium* !!!
