Fanclub Tickets?

Just wondering if there have been fanclub tickets for any of the shows this summer/fall. If so, do you still have to go to the venue to buy them?

There were fanclub tickets available for all the NJ shows but are sold out. You could only get them online as far as i'm aware and were different packages available.

No - they have changed the process - fortunately. You can buy them online and you were able to buy 2 tickets with 1 membership. They all sold out instantly though - at least the ones I was looking for in Newark. They also raised the prices big time so I only bought the first night in Newark as fan club tickets - the rest are regular seats - some of which might actually be better seats.

Yeh they guarantee them all within the first 15 rows too. So they should for those f-ng prices

Buying online sounds good, but not if it sells out instantly. Was there any procedure to ensure 1 member didn't get tickets to several shows and another get shut out.

Also, when you say they raised the prices, do you mean tickets in general. Or that fanclub tickets are now higher priced than Ticketmaster? If the later, how much higher?

As far as I could tell - there were no safety features in place except for the fact that you could not buy multiple tickets for the same night. You could certainly buy tickets for multiple nights - easily. Their servers crashed the first night they did this and I wound up with multiple tickets in my shopping cart which I could not delete. They would have been happy to sell all of them to me. Fortunately - the same tickets were still in my basket when the server came back up and I was able to delete those that I didn't want.

And yes - the prices were a little higher than ticketmaster. I think the ticketmaster prices for the best seats were around $350.00 and the fan club tickets were $375.00. They could argue that they were the best seats in the house but if you are short like I am and you get stuck in the 15th row on the floor - you are not going to see much.

Well some Backstagers over there were sayign Ticketmaster still had 4th row tickets on sale for some NEwark gigs a day after they went on sale. I dont see why the FC cant get tickets within the first 7-8 rows

I agree, 15th row is not the best in the house. I had 18th row once, and even though I am 5'6", I still had to stand on my tiptoes to see over the rows of heads in front of me.

The $25 premium isn't too bad, I suppose. And at least they are trying to improve on the sale process.
