True, on the majority of their records, but some of the lyrical content on Slang was quite good.

You can tell just by looking at the lyrics that it's fairly typical Def Leppard, which is fine.

First single has leaked and Iīm not sure what to think of it. It doesnīt suck, but it doesnīt make me wanna listen to it over and over again either. And I just donīt get why they took that McGraw guy on this song. Joe could have easily sung those few lines. Lyrics posted above are correct.

Many thanks! Listening to it now. It's alrite, but I do see what you mean in your earlier post. Bare in mind the file isn't great quality so it'd be better to judge a much cleaner version.

No problemos! After listening to it a few times, Iīve started to like it a bit. Itīs better than most of the songs on X. And like you said, quality isnīt the best possible.

Really liking the new single, I think it's got a cool tone to it. You can really hear the Tim McGraw influence though. Not saying it's a bad thing, could be worse. I'd say it's similar to the effect Big and Rich had on We Got It Goin' On.
