Do you have to put a message and isn't there a way to report a post with out it logging who reported it?

If it's a case of reporting the spam crap in the film forum, don't worry, it gets dealt with anyway, no need to bother reporting it. I usually deal with it as soon as I see it :)

The reported posts always say who reported them.

I'll second the "please don't report spam" too. While most of the moderators aren't on that long per day, I do think that each of us move spam as soon as we see it. Neil can deleted them from his forum and then one of us has to move the deleted threads. I'm assuming deleted threads still show up to everyone as having been deleted, right?

I don't think that they do Becky. I tried logging out once when I knew there were some deleted ones, and they didn't show.

no it's not the spam stuff I was curious about. I know that is handled rather quickly.

I am just gonna let the statement someone said roll off my back. Everyone has the right to thier oppion and how the express it. I'll just ignore the thread.

Oh is there a list of who are the mods. I have been around forever and still don't know who the mods are. I wanted to change my username, but I guess Peter is the only one that can do that.

If I report a post I just pm a mod. Is there another way to report a post then ?

I mainley lurk and don't post alot. I signed up goodness a while ago, but I just never really post. I lurked back when the site was set up differnant. I think it was called Jovitalk 2 then. So I am not really new just posting a little more.

all these countries hillbillies suddenly showed up..
