What was your first ever gig
Does anybody remember the 1st concert they attended? Mine was the mighty Shakin Stevens in 1981,as far as i can remember he was pretty good(was 8 at the time).I remember my mum buying me a silk cushion with his face on it.I thought i had chucked it years ago but after a 20 year loss it reappered on my wedding day and i was made to do my old moves to Green door, how bad is that:p

Bon Jovi with Skid Row in Jackson, Mississippi, on September 17, 1989.

This really depends on your definition .....
First I went to Chris Tarrant's Capital Request at Wembley Arena in Sept 2002, which was a multi artist bill with Toploader, Appleton, a supergroup with members of Mike & The Mechanics (if I remember rightly), and Bon Jovi at the top of the bill Then in November 2002 I was at Monsters Of Rock at Brighton Arena, which was again a multi artist bill, where Thunder was the main support act and Alice Cooper headlining (they were the only two I saw) And then the week after I saw Nickelback (with Default supporting) also at the Brighton Arena Take your pick of which was my first gig! :D |
Bon Jovi ~ September 1, 1995 in Syracuse, NY at the New York State Fair

Bon Jovi-August 7, 2003.
The show where the ****ing sky opened =} |
Bon Jovi, Halloween Night 1988. RDS Simmonscourt Arena, Dublin. I was 15, it was the greatest night of my life, and i thought Jovi where amazing. Jon was on his swing over the crowd during Never Say Goodbye. A few years later i bought Access all areas, only to hear the band say that they had sucked that night, and that "if that happens again, and i have a machine gun, Its loaded, so stay out of my way."

Thunder, in, uhm....god, can't even remember the year. Behind Closed Doors tour, so I think 95, at the Edinburgh Playhouse.
It was pretty good, but then I went to see Jovi the next year and there's never been a band to compare to them since. Always try and catch a few other gigs any non Jovi touring year though. |
take that - november 1992

First gig I ever went to was Robbie Williams at Glasgow SECC. Pretty sure it was in 2000.
