Why not play these 3 songs???
I don't care how they sound now compared to the album tracks. I don't care if some people feel they don't fit in with the show or change the mood etc.
I wan't to hear: These days Hey god Something to believe in Why can't we have these 3 songs at every show instead of the regulars that get in at every show like: I'll sleep when I'm dead Bad medicine Born to be my baby I am not saying I don't want these songs at all, but why have those 3 songs from these days not remained. I see them being just as important as the regular songs that are played. 'Hey god' is not that difficult to sing and 'Something to believe in' is great in an encore. Come on BJ! |
I'd love for the songs you mentioned as regulars in the set list, but speaking for the US, it ain't ever gonna happen. The crowd is made up of too many casual fans who want the hits. Maybe one of the songs mentioned thrown in the encore every now and again but that's the best we're going to get.

I love those songs, they're the best on These Days but they only very rarely play These Days songs I think which is bad since it's the best album :(

Somehting to beilieve in was played quite a few times on the european leg of the OWN tour and These Days was played fairly often methinks on the european legs of both Bounce's and HAND's european leg.

Yeah thats the only bad thing i guess about BJ, they play the same songs at every gig, you could guess which songs are coming next... theres a load which should be put in the setlists, fans would be made up with a few suprises... but still, BJ concerts are still great:D

Would be great to hear Hey God. I was very lucky to hear These Days at the Ricoh, and I think at Hyde Park too possibly, so it gets dusted off occasionally. Although I dont care much for Something To Believe In, if they played If Thats What It Takes, then I would be a very happy bunny!

I've been lucky enough to hear These Days twice out of the four Jovi shows I've been to. I dont like Hey God, But Something To Believe In I would love to hear it live.
Saying that though I wouldnt want to replace Born To Be My Baby with any of those. I love that song so much and its great hearing it live. |
I doubt we'd ever hear Hey God again, especially in the US. Just doesn't jive with how the band 'feels' anymore.
Obviously we still get These Days (though barely in the states), and I would LOVE to get Something To Believe In again. I'd be fine w/o any other song from TD if they played that regularly. But you know, TAALS got some attention thanks to Idol. You never know... |
