Hotels Close to the Prudential Center?

Hey there...I'm coming from Toronto to see one of the November shows in Newark. It's kinda hard to find hotels since the Prudential Center isn't on Google Maps yet (I see where it will be, but can't find an actual address)...if anyone could help me out with some close-by hotel names, it would be much appreciated! :)
Also, one of the girls coming has never been to NYC and I'd love to take her while we're close, so I guess I'm looking for a hotel in Newark that not only close to the new arena, but also offers bus tours to NYC! Complicated enough?

Thanks for any help you can be! :)

The Hilton penn station is right across the street from the venue, but cheap it isn't. A bit over 200.00 a night. there are several hotels out at the airport Newark International, and there is shuttle and taxie service to downtown Newark where the show is.

Penn station is the train station where you pick up trains to the city. It's like a twenty minute ride.

just go online to orbitz.com or expedia and type in Newark, NJ. All the hotels come up there.

Check here for directions and info. I know it's on Mulberry Street but not sure of the exact number.

Crap - I meant to answer this yesterday and I completely forgot. Rainsong has given good advice though. You can get to the center from anywhere: New Jersey transit, PATH (trains to NY), Amtrak (Northeast Corridor) and the new light rail system. All of these are within 2 blocks of the venue.

Here is a link to the NJ Devils (hockey) site that details transportation:
