Rumba!!!!!!!!
 

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to say that Rosscoe, Christo and I all just went to the opening night from the Bounce tour and it absolutly ROCKED!!!

We got to hear the band perform songs, while we waited in the que for about 1/2 hour, then when we got in, we got to the front, and they played for 45mins on stage......and were the best act by far (Nobody even came close!!!!)

Also the songs the band performed while we waited were different to the ones that they sung (so we effectively had 1.25 hours of concert)!!!


The official setlist was:
Bounce
Bad name
Misunderstood
Everyday
Its my life
Livin on a prayer
Wanted
Bad medicine
Shout

But we also heard:
Undivided
The distance
Born to be my baby
Keep the faith
(wanted and misunderstood again)
and I think there were a couple more that I just can't quite remember....

Overall it was great and I hope they come back for a full tour!!!!!!

What did everyone else think of it?

Thanx for the review! - Sounds like they were awesome. What do u mean songs performed while u waited? - Were they warming up on a different stage?

You heard them warming up? wow...you were close to the stage then yeah?

I was up the back in the stands...grrr.... oh well.... hehe. Guess we all sort of got something out of rumba then...me a handshake and you some warmups.. :)

Gotta admit though..i am still excited about seeing them..but dissapointed, just at the length of time in which they played. As i'm sure most of you are...but beggers can't be choosers, now can they.

Yeah I also wish it was a full concert.....

But they did go off!!!

With the warm ups.....it was when we were waiting outside, we must have been right near the stage, b/c we got the yellow wrist bands (which allowed access right up the front of the stage), plus they were warming up, and we pretty much heard a free live show right then!!! So that was awesome!

Also Ross, Christo, and I all waved at the same time (when nobody else was), and Jon gave us a salute while he was singing!!!!

That pretty much made my night complete 8)

Yellow ones... I saw people with green ones if im not mistaken, how did you get yellow ones?

And they allowed you to get in that little ark at the front of the stage ?

Oh..and when you said you were waiting outside??? outside what ? Were you just around the back of the stage or something?

Yeah it was awesome.....

Also, we got Yellow ones b/c we got to the ground early (about 9:30), and waited around at Gate 6 (to be let in), and they were just giving them out.....then BJ fired up between 10:15 - 10:30, and went till about 11:00, with their warm ups (so we heard it while waiting to go in2 the ground).....

The ppl who had green ones who got to the front must have snuck in b/c it was a yellow tag only type area......So I think i'm going to be early for every concert that I go 2 from now on!!

I have to say that Undivided was impressive, so too was the distance.....but nothing beats being in the ground watching the guyz going at it!!!!

Wow dan...thats cool. I didn't think that they would turn up twice in the one day..thats cool. I thought you were saying you heard them warming up just before they took the stage. Oooo..you woudl have got all excited no doubt hearing them inside already.

Was that you guys with the BJ flag thingo waving it around everytime the camera took shot ?
