Dave changed places? Seats behind the stage?
Is that right? From the videos i've seen, it looks strange.
What you think? |
The seats behind the stage don't affect me either me.
Like, I'm not happy they're there, but it doesn't upset me either. I don't see any reason why Dave should've changed places. If it was to accomodate the other musicians, than that sucks. |

Things stay the same way too long, people complain the band never change. The band add some new muscians, flip some songs around, move some people, add a new set and people don't like things new. Meh.
I think it's kinda cool looking. Definetely different but I'm glad they're not stagnant. EDIT: and please tell me there aren't people actually using the new musicians as scapegoats for Dave's new location. Give me a break. |
I'm not scapegoating, and if there was another reason (seating config?) I don't care..I just tink it would be weird for the band to change it's staging for backing musicians. And, I on't mind the backing musicians on the NEW stuff (as I feel they belong) just not on the older stuff.

On that note, I agree. They should only be there on the songs that benefit the new instruments. Having the violin during These Days gives it a shot in the arm and fits with the style. But a fiddle during Bad Medicine...not so much. I agree. |
That's a good point.
I don't mind the violin in TD because, as you said, it fits the style of the song. I just don't want them to change around the structure of songs to shoehorn stuff in. |

I wouldn't mind something like that. |
I believe the people that are complaining haven't gone to a show yet.I have been a fan since 86 and I feel that the band is at its best now. The extra musicians don't bother me at all.So what if Dave is somewhere else as long as he's still there is all that should matter. The seats behind the stage were not from what I could see that great but the people there didn't seem to mind.
