yeah i heard on radio 1!! i am glad i never booked dublin now. i was umming and arring over it for ages....

luckily my boss is a foos fan so i can try for tickets on friday :)

he was dire wasn't he? we went and got food during his set, we gave him a chance for 3 songs, but couldn't stomach it.

they joined them onstage when i saw the foos in hyde park last year. i reckon they are buddies now :)

it's all subjective. i think they are great.
i wouldn't call them a pop band, if Foo Fighters are pop then Bon Jovi (post 2000) are like bubblegum pop or something like like tweenies doing a single, but there you go. i know someone else who only likes stacked actors too...funny that.

He is the God of those who cannot sing. His "voice" is absolutely terrible he screams instead of singing. They have a few decent tunes but this guy destroys them with his shitty vocals. Also the songs on their albums can be changed any time - each one sounds quite the same no variety at all. But what can one expect of a band with members from a group that destroyed the music with Nirvana.
As a big Queen Fan I cannot unterstand why either Roger Taylor and Brian May are fans of them. They even played with them (again) at the O2 Gig last week.
Absoluteley one of the most overrated bands . Get another singer and it might get better. Grohl is drop dead awful!

Whoa! That's a pretty bold statement. Granted, there are a fair few 'screaming' songs, but pretty much each album provides a few opportunities for more delicate [my choice of adjective] vocals. The vocals change depending on the mood of the song. I'm not saying he's the best vocalist in the world, he certainly isn't. His vocals are perfect for the band and if you see them live you appreciate how well his vocals hold out. And I think comparing the band to Queen is a little bit unfair, it implies you compare Grohl to Freddie which ain't happening.

Well this three are "ok" but theyre all slow acoustic driven songs. The "Rock" tunes he is smashing to pieces with his awful screaming.
