I Know the Setlist for the UK '08 Tour !!!!
As we all sit here with fingers poised over the keys ready to shell out another £75 x however many tickets it suddenly occured to me that we probably all know the setlist for the tour anyway.
1.LH 2.Bad Name 3.Raise Your Hands 4.Born to be... 5.Runaway 6.Make a Memory 7.We Got it Goin on (with Big & Rich who are supporting according to press) 8.Have a Nice Day 9.I Love This Town 10.Captain Crash 11.In These Arms 12.Summertime (cos it will be) 13.Saturday Night 14.Its My Life 15.Whole lot of Leavin' 16.These Days (richie - god I hope so!) 17.Random ballad like 'Right Side of Wrong' or 'Bells' instead of 'Always', 'Love Song' 18.Lay Your Hands 19.Sleep When Dead 20.Bad Medicine (with F***ing 'Shout') Encore Wanted Who Says You Cant Go Home Livin on A Prayer Without wanting to sound boring cos we've done it death : its now time for these songs to become the staples of this tour and not just audibles or never played. 'Blood on Blood' 'Id Die for You' 'Always' - done properly 'Just Older' 'This Aint a Love Song' 'Livin In Sin' 'I Believe' 'Hey God' Not even going to mention 'Dry County' cos yes, they played it lots on the last tour - apart from in the UK when it was Manchester only. Rant over - bring on the pre-sale at 2pm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Aloha !
I'd Die For You has been played at almost every show in the UK, same as for Blood On Blood and Just Older. I agree with the setlists being boring at the moment, but we've said the same about the HAND tour when it started in North America. Yet, when they entered Europe the setlists got a lot better, and they won't be as boring as yours. Salaam Aleikum, Sebastiaan |
ha
wasn't going for stuff that has never been played - gone are the days of wishing for stuff like 'If I was Your Mother'.
Just being more realistic and hoping for stuff they used to play that doesn't get much of an airing now. I haven't seen 'Die For You' in the UK in years. |

I think the second MK night was the only HAND UK date it wasn'y played at...I think. |
eh
Are you sure? I went to MK and it wasn't played there but at least 'In These Arms' was.

Some songs are easier to sing than others. One thing for sure, you will never here the full versions of:
'Always' - done properly 'This Aint a Love Song' 'I Believe' 'Hey God' Without a serious change of key for each song because we all know his vocal range now since he got older and he would struggle. Mabsey |
