Bon Jovi Cancels Tour Dates???
 

Hey everyone. First off this is my first post so hello. I've been reading these boards since the boards on bonjovi.com were shut down but have not created an account until now. Anyways to my topic. I live in Phoenix AZ. On bonjovi.com it states that the band will be playing at jobing.com arena here on April 8th, 2008. However that date is not listed for the presale starting tomorrow. As far as I can tell it is the only date that is not listed on either ticketmaster or on the list of dates sent out in the presale e-mail from AEG. I contacted the arena and they said they have had several calls but do not have any information but confirmed that the show would not be part of the presale. They did not have any information on when tickets would go on sale. Has anyone heard anything about this? I seriously doubt the show would have been cancelled, in the e-mail when they are doing the skit about what cities they are visiting they specifically mention Phoenix. Has anyone else had this problem with the dates in your area? Thanks for the help!


UPDATE: Bonjovi.com has removed the dates previously listed for Phoenix, AZ on April 8th and Minneapolis. :( Awaiting word on whether dates will be rescheduled or just cancelled.

That date is no longer on bonjovi.com . . . Mpls/St.Paul is gone too. WTF? :confused:

Whoa WTF. You are right. The dates are gone off of bonjovi.com. I can't imageine they would cancel or retract dates without posting some form of notice. Besides in the presale e-mail they sent out with the little band videos the band specifically says they are coming to Phoenix. I wonder if this has anything to do with the fact that the band is rumored to be performing at the Super Bowl Half Time Show in Phoenix this year. Idk why they would have removed the other date though. :( This makes me very very sad.

They either:

• Cancelled and are hoping nobody would notice
• Cancelled and are gonna notify everyone of why over the site
• Are rescheduling and decided it was vital to get inaccurate info off the site
