Please help me I'm confused!

Hi,

I'm hoping to get a couple of tickets tomorrow for a UK show. I'm not sure which yet...I have some questions and if anyone has any answers I would be so grateful.

ok here I go...
  • Why no wembley? Do you think they might add this later?
  • Should I re-join BWJBJ I haven't been a member for a while, is it necessary?
  • Which is considered to be the best show?
  • Any idea why they are seriously so expensive? Crazy. :(
  • Who are the support acts, do we know?

The cost thing really bothers me, after 8 years I had finally convinced by boyfriend to accompany me to a Jovi show, having seen the Rolling Stones this year I think he's keener now. But at £75 I can't see that we can afford it.

Do you think they're really that price or will that will change when the pre-sale begins tomorrow?

As you can see I'm totally lost and REALLY need some help as I want to get the correct ticket/s tomorrow!!

As I said, I would really appreciate some advice!

Thank you guys.

Vicki

Hang on...I got an email from TM saying the tickets go on pre-sale on Sat, so how come some people on other threads have already got them?

I'm so lost and I was so excited about getting some tickets - I'll be really disappointed if I can't. :(

no-one really knows why theyre not playing wembley...

i wouyldnt advise joining backstage with jbj as you can only use the membership with a ticket purchased through the fanclub...

the best show would be of your choice, alot of people are choosing to do shows that are considered to be big, manchester or twickenham

they price is just inflation through the years, these wont change tomorrow, they'll still be expensive no matter when you get tickets or if you get tickets and compared to the Rolling Stone tickets £75 isnt that much...

the support act will get confirmed nearer the time but theres speculation that its Big & Rich....

there was a presale on weds... for uk shows and it ends tomorrow morning at 9am

Strange...my email dated 7th November says ticket sales start on Saturday!

I used to know everything that was going on but with life getting crazy I haven't been able to keep up. Btw...we saw the Rolling Stones in Barcelona (kinda by accident but that's another story) and the prices were not that high!! Hey ho.

So what is the difference between FC pre-sale and the one that starts at 10am tomorrow morning? Surely the GC is the GC no matter where the tickets come from? Is it a special early entry ticket...or is there going to be two circles again like in previous years?

Yvonne answered most of these but here goes anyway :)
  • After Wembley's builders didnt finish it in time and BJ had to go to Milton Keynes instead, AEG decided to go for compensation from Wembley. Wembley say go to the builders, AEG say eff that give us some cash. Unresolved = no BJ @ Wembley
  • Don't rejoin Backstage, the packages & tickets are massively expensive and there are minimal benefits
  • Twickenham is probably the best venue, then Manchester. But you can't predict what's gonna be played at what show or how the band will sound so it's pot-luck
  • They aren't seriously expensive. Most people's ideas about cost are stuck in the mid-90s. £37.50 for GA, £75 for Golden Circle is reasonable.
  • UK support acts will probably be different to US, but expect Big n Rich or Daughtry.
  • The presale isn't tomorrow. Pre-sale was Wednesday. Some rubbish tickets are still left on Ticketmaster under the pre-sale. The tickets go on sale to everyone tomorrow (Saturday, 10am)

LittleRunaway_Vicki 11-10-2007 12:16 AM

I probably will opt for Twickenham if we can go, as it's closest to me and probably easier to get home to Suffolk from than any others!

I'm gutted that I didn't know about the pre-sale. Really gutted. Oh well that's life I guess. That means the TM email is a blatent lie.

there is no FC presale... the only presale was weds and loads of people got emails from the various sites doing them..

the gold circle tickets get you down the front...

if you want an early entrance the only way to do so is buying a gold circle ticket through the fanclub... £25 for the privialege of being a member and about £130 for the gc early entrance ticket... and quite alot of these are sold out esp twickenham and manchester...

LittleRunaway_Vicki 11-10-2007 12:21 AM

Aaah ok. Well if my boyfriend does decide to come we will probably just chill out at the back of GC - I don't want to get him too stressed and want him to enjoy himself at his first Jovi experience! :) So fan club then isn't really an issue - my main worry was the possibility of two seperate pits, in which scenario I would prefer to be at the back of the small front one.

Yvonne 11-10-2007 12:27 AM

that wont be decided until nearer the time... (i think)

the only time i've been in a separate pit was at hyde park, they had a fc only pit, gc and then ga.... so who knows what will happen
