Twickenham 2008
 

Just noticed that the only concert in the UK offering side stage packages is the Twickenham show. Anyone heard on the grapevine that they could be filming this gig or is it just random that this is the only one that they're trying to rip you off for stage access?

Why would them allowing stage access for this show suggest it was being filmed? It's the last big UK show (unless they announce more) so perhaps that's why they've done it.

Side stage access is not a new or novel thing that's why. They have it at every show and I have never once seen them charging it as a separate package to the general public. It was only me thinking out loud, I just find it strange that's all.

On Seetickets you can buy them for all except Bristol now mate......I'm sure that wasn't there before though.

£520 for the privilage to stand on stage for 3 songs... nah...

Apparently, for that £520, you get:

3 songs on stage
A signed poster or something from Jon
$100 of vouchers to spend on the website merch shop
GC ticket

A total rip-off made worse by the fact that you have to buy them in multiples of 2!!! So one 2-3hr show costs you £1040 minimum!!! What a joke! What's even more of a joke is that the ones at Twickenham had actually SOLD OUT on ticketbastard the last time I checked.

I know i saw that .Couldnt beleive that people have got so much money that they can justify spending that just for 1 show!!!

Crazy prices, why not just randomly select ticket numbers for side stage before the show. That would be a great treat and fair.

I have chosen the show in my hometown. Lucky to have no travel costs and have gone for standard standing tickets this time, just gets too expensive.
