Anybody who got banned from backstage!
And therefore can't order tickets, are eligible to refund no matter what backstage says.
Their terms only specifying, by abuse or whatever of messageboard the ban to make use of the messageboard and nothing else (ie make use of the oportunity to purchase tickets or even merchandise, not that I was going too) So I now need make to work of this, somehow. Just for the sake of it. |
well i renewed 2/3 weeks ago, everything was working fine until i made several comments re the running of the fc and agreed with others making negative comments. i am now unable to log on at all to any part of the site.
I have emailed admin but had no answer, am so pissed they want to fleece me for $50 for a years membership to a message board and then ban me after 2 weeks because i dont agree with the way matt is running the fan club. anyone else had similar problems? :mad: |

As far as I know email (as long as your mailing from a regristred account, ie not hotmail) is also a legal way of writing. If they don't answer - normally within 60 days - they have not tried to settle without court and you can take them to court easily. In that case you already won one big step. I actually thinking to do that, just for the sake of it. And then put it online somewhere where lots of people can read it. |
yeah do it. i have emailed them twice, as far as im concerned either they can give me my $50 back or i will have to find another way of pursuing the issue because like you say there is no mention of being banned from the entire site just the message board. im not going to let anyone mug me of my money i dont care who it is.

Well, i let my sister re-read my (english) letter and ask if she will print if on paper from her firm (she's a lawyer), not sure if she would do that. Anyway curious if & how they react. |
i wouldnt normally either but beside the principle of the issue when i did renew i was totally skint but didnt want to miss out on things. they dont seem to care about that, or to warn you for saying things, just ban you when theyve taken your money. I will continue to email them everyday and keep copies of them, until i get a response.

join the club. It would be better to write the letter and maybe proceed with a few then just with one.
effectively they cancelled membership due to 'abuse' - wich is a discussion worth on its own but unable to, as all 'proof - posts' are deleted - of messageboard. |
they totally removed that letter that someone wrote (^?) to matt expressing how people were pissed off and let down. got up to around 14/15 pages signed by members and then it just vanished, we need a proper campaign outside of the fc cause we cant have anything inside. thats three of us $200 for nothing. thats just called theft
