Hey, I'm on your side.
I couldn't give a shit about the openers.
I mean I was very, VERY excited to see AAR, but Jovi was the true draw obviously.

Its not rocket science really...

Fact: There is always a support act, thus we might aswell hope for a decent one. If we want to get close for the main act it means we have to be there early and therefore will undoubtably have to stand through the support act - so it helps alot if they are entertaining aswell.

Plus, I dont know about others, but I love live music and discovering new artists etc. Its how I discovered MB20.

If the openers crap Im not too fussed, although as Id have to see them 5 times in a week it would help if I could enjoy them even slightly! But is a great bonus if there is a quality supporting line up, but a bonus only.

I found them thro BJ too infact they have many BJ fans cos of that tour.

If it was all seated I wouldnt care id just skip them and go to the bar. Unfortunately though its a bit more difficult in the GC so it really helps pass the time having summat decent to listen to. :)

Who cares?

Anyone with a wide-ranging love of music rather than an unhealthy fixation on a single band.

Anyone who is weighing up the options between different concerts and wants to know what they are getting for their money.

Anyone who remembers the days when a single £25 ticket got you 3 hours of Bon Jovi, Van Halen, Thunder, Little Steven and Crown of Thorns.

Anyone who wants to know how much of a rock band Bon Jovi consider themselves.

Anyone who wants decent value for the £90 they paid after fees.

Anyone who has their ears open to new sounds.
