CMON Israel!!!

Need them to get at least a point on Saturday against Russia to give England any chance of qualifying for the Euros next summer. Havn't had a tournament without England in it since 1994 and that was crap.

To be honest - I hope that Russia makes it this time. I wish Guus Hiddink the best :).

people are all hyperactive here which is kinda strange since italy are going to bend us over and send us packing.

Of Course Everyone who isnt English hopes we go out....but Euro 2008 will be poorer without us.

As much as I want Scotland to go through, it would be unbearable if they made it and we didn't. We'd never live it down

I'd be happy if Scotland or England get through. Can't see it happening for England but I reckon the Scots will manage a point against the Azzuri.

Poorer in terms of cash for sure... But in terms of sports Euro 2008 will not be poorer without a team that fails to be even 2nd in a group such as this one.

And if we look on atmosphere in the stadiums and fans partying, I'd very much prefer to see Scotland go through than England.

And who knows it might just be the best thing that could happen to English football. Just like when France, with Papin, Cantona, Ginola, Deschamps etc... missed out the 94 WC despite needing just one point out of their last two qualifiers against Israel and Bulgaria. It was a big shock but 4 years later, with a completely different team, we were World Champions and European Champions in 2000. That's all I can wish for England.

Yeah, cos they've really lit up the lat few tournaments with their sexy football haven't they. I'll be quite glad when they get knocked out, a summer enjoying a football festival without all the media shite and know-nothing fans suddenly all becoming experts. Actually managing to get a seat in the pub to watch a game without some facepainted twatlip shouting 'IN-GER-LUND' down my earhole. (ask them what club 'player X' plays for and they look at you with a gormless expression that would put Kev to shame). Like last year I shall be cheering on Spain.

Well maybe if we had a decent manager to get the best out of our world class players and make them play as a team, we would. Still think in a European Trophy England HAVE to be there. 3 out of the 4 semi finalists for the Euro cup were English teams this year (yes I know half of those teams have foreign players but even so).
